My question is.  Is it easier for you to work in your pajamas all day or do you get up and get dressed and work?  If you are in your pj's do you get more results or do you get better results when you get dressed for the day?

hmm interesting question it all depends on what i have to do that day I usually stay in my house clothes (kind of like pj's) but do dress up when I know I have to run my errands. If I'm more successful when dressing up? Nope lol

I have found that if I get ready for the day and dress before entering my office at home I feel more
successful and create a more professional disposition for myself. Now, like today, snowed in... I'm enjoying
being in my frumpies, looking out the window watching the snow and working. I've always heard "act as if you are and you will be". Even when I go out just to shop, if I dress and feel good about myself I certainly feel
more confident to speak to others.

I don't get dressed unless I am having company. For me personally I don't think what I wear in the house matters in the area of productivity.

Since I'm usually up at 5AM, I read the paper and have coffee in house clothes. After the morning activities (e-mails, social sites, etc.), I'll usually shower and put on street clothes before getting totally engrossed in the days events.

Most days I go to lunch and then to my office (Starbucks), so they like it when I don't wear my 'jammies.

I do find that I seem to be more focused and ready for the day after a shower and getting dressed.

I guess its a mind-set...

If something should happen that requires my going out of the house such as an impromptu meeting or something of that nature, I'm more likely to agree to that "on the spot" appointment if I'm already showered and dressed and ready to go.

I'm an Insurance Agent for Life and Health here in Texas, so i would often stop by Starbucks to get some computer work done and make phone calls, but StateCE is now taking over my time and becoming my full-time endeavor.

I'm there so much, the other day one of the girls asked me, "What do you do back there? Do you work?"

She laughed and said she knew that wasn't going to sound right as soon as she said it.

I told her that's Ok, I'm just sitting back there watching youtube and porn.

Her co-worker started laughing so hard she spilled the creamer she was filling!

(I am kidding about the porn thing!)

I have worked at home both ways in my pjs and in work/dressed up clothes. I find it in dressed up clothes, my work brain is more ready for the work tasks that I have to accomplish and motivates me more. If I'm going out and plan to give out business cards to people I meet, I tend to dress up more. I find yself a bit more productive if I dress for work. However for some I know it doesn't really matter.

I like to make myself feel decent by getting done up and that makes me ready to run out the door at a minutes notice as well.Think being dressed makes you feel more productive even when talking to someone that cant see you lol
