My question is.  Is it easier for you to work in your pajamas all day or do you get up and get dressed and work?  If you are in your pj's do you get more results or do you get better results when you get dressed for the day?

I'm definitely the "jammies" type. Well, I do change out of my jammies and into sweats or something comfortable. I had too many years of having to dress up every morning.

I agree. Twenty plus years of HAVE TO dress up for the office at my J.O.B. makes me a little lazier in my work at home attire. Typically I can be found in lounge pants and a t-shirt, or sweats if I'm cold. However, if I am out and about, gotta dress the part. Full make up and decent clothes. Not the heels and suits I ued to wear all the time, but decent.

I find that I am more productive and more prepared for everything if I stick to my routine. I get up and take a shower and do my hair and makeup everyday. There are days when I don't leave the house but although I work at home I try to keep a professional appearance because it helps me have a professional attitude. If I have to run out for some reason (kid gets sick at school, husband needs me to run an errand, have to go get milk) then I want to look decent. You never know when you might find your next business partner.

My daughter told me the other day "Mom, I am so glad you don't run around in your pajama's or sweats all day. I think it makes people look lazy." Wow!!

Now, I do wear jeans and t-shirts or sweaters and sometimes my sneakers. But I am prepared!

You know, I do dress for the day. I don't like hanging out in my pj's all day then night. I mean how romantic is that for the hubby? It is just a good habit to get in especially when working from home. Act as if you are and you will be. Dress frumpy and I am frumpy. Dress for success and Il am more successful. Don't you think?

I totally agree Cheryl. I just asked my husband if he would mind if I stayed in my pj's all day. He said no, but it makes him feel better that he's working all day and he gets to come home to a wife who looks and smells good. I never thought to ask him until now. So, thanks!!
